I hope everyone who finds this online will come to enjoy the process as much as I have. I was given a collection of papers and documents that used to belong to my Great Grandmother in the Summer of 2005. It’s been a great joy to look through these things and “meet” a woman who I never got to meet in her lifetime.
So please feel free to look around and meet my Great Grandmother Llewellyn Thorward-Moore. I have disabled comments on this blog as I don’t want spam to collect. I think I have kept this post open to comments so feel free to comment here if you would like.

M & W’s had meeting at church. We had choir rehearsal at church. Ernest did not rehearse for choir Sunday. He came upstairs once though about 9.40.

Stayed home as my cold was not a whole lot better. Alethea class in charge of supper at church. Served Chicken, carrots, peas, cranberries, apple sauce, lemon meringue pie. Ernest came home with me after. Ma & he & I sat talking until 12 o’clock.

Stayed home from work – Had a cold in my head & chest. Ma bought new suit & dress and I got a blue & white crepe dress. Rather chilly.

Lovely Day. Ma, Pa, Ruth G & I went down to Conference to hear appointments read at night. Got home about 12 o’clock.

Went out to Sunday School & Church in morning. My cold so bad I couldn’t sing very much. Snowed on and off all day. Ma, Pa & I went to Suffern at 5.15. It blew up very cold and I rode in the bottom of car on the way back. Ernest & his Grandmother went down to Conference Sunday morning.

Miss K, Miss Pusch, Miss W, Miss S & myself went to see little Nellie Kelly. Very good show. We mett Miss Peters and had lunch at Chin Lee’s. Went home on the 6.24. Went to bed about 9 o’clock.

Choir Rehearsal. I did not go as I was about half sick with a cold. Ernest & a bunch of Leagues went down to League Rally at Conference. Beautiful Day.

Meet of Alethea class at Moeser’s. We arranged for supper we are to give on Wednesday night for Teacher’s Training Class & Bible Class. Saw Ernest up street before meeting. Was talking to him + Rosewell for a while. Dorothy, June Attolie went to a party at Lynch’s. Rainy night.

Bible Training & Teachers class. Supper served by Mrs. Mitchell & class. Mr. Gillespie preached his last at prayer meeting. Topic - love. Last song we sang was God be with you till we meet again. Went down to Mildred C’s for a while after Prayer meeting. Ma & Pa went down to the Shubert Theater in Newark.
